Our signature, “share the journey”, expresses the Biblical notion that we’re on our Way together toward a life of hope, faith and generosity.
The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) was founded in the early 1800’s in the United States. Seeking to move beyond denominational disagreement, the founders envisioned a united church of Jesus Christ modeled on the New Testament. Today our nearly 3800 congregations still share a common vision of deep Christian spirituality, true community and a passion for justice.
