Our signature, “share the journey”, expresses the Biblical notion that we’re on our Way together toward a life of hope, faith and generosity.
Why HRCC?
To heal life's hurts. To pursue difficult questions. To make a lasting difference. To experience God's kindness. To embrace mystery and share the ups and downs of life's journey with others.
At Heart of the Rockies Christian Church, you will find people who accept you as you are and challenge you to become all that you can be; a simple faith that informs difficult choices; a place where worship is both contemporary and reverent.
You don't have to be a Christian to check us out. We welcome folks who are searching spiritually and those who are simply curious about Christianity. We won't try to twist your religious arm. We rejoice in a God who invites, not coerces.
Beyond Christ-centered and nourishing worship, our life includes such varied activities as ministries with children and youth, a Saturday morning men's prayer breakfast, a women's group, a book study group, DISCIPLE Bible study, a monthly all-church time of fun and fellowship, and work/mission trips to the Navajo Nation in Shiprock, New Mexico, to Mexico with our youth to build homes through Casas por Cristo, to the Gulf Coast to join in hurricane relief efforts and to villages near the Dead Sea in Jordan.
In a world counseling "self-help", we work at embracing Jesus' call to self-sacrifice: trusting God's steadfast love, discovering our gifts, and sharing together with God in something of enormous and eternal consequence: the shaping of life toward a world of justice and wholeness. Be invited to share in a journey of meaning, purpose and joy.
