Baptism Class

Each year, people preparing for baptism and a life of discipleship are invited to partake in the "Tour of Life." On this day-long retreat, candidates for baptism are paired with an adult mentor as the group travels throughout the city, connecting the Christian faith to everyday life. Stops include a visit to the Birthing Center at Poudre Valley Hospital, Habitat for Humanity home supply store, a local funeral home, a playground, pizza place and a classroom. At each location there is teaching and conversation regarding various aspects of the Christian Life such as being born new, death and resurrection, play, prayer, a life of learning, baptism, communion, and service.

This class is taught in the Spring with a new Fall class to begin in 2008.
