CYF mission trip July 12-20, 2008
Juarez, Mexico
For all current 9-12 graders

We will be working with Casas por Cristo. In Juarez there is a shortage of 40,000 homes for low-income families. Casas por Cristo partners with Mexican Churches to build homes and relationships with the poor in Mexico. That is where we come into the picture. We will construct a full home from beginning to end. There will be a trained staff member assigned to our team the entire time we are there. They will assist us with construction and stay with us in the local church. Our evenings will be balanced with relaxation, reflection, prayer and fun. We will be sharing an incredible gift of love with the people of Mexico, but you can expect to receive more than you give. Call Scott at 223-1230 or Laura at 214-1401 for more details.

Chi-Rho Mission trip August 3-9
Alamosa, Colorado
For all current 6-8th graders

We will be serving in various ways around Alamosa through La Puente Home (www.lapuente.net), an emergency food and housing agency for the San Luis Valley. We will cook and serve meals for the residents there and do other work around La Puente. We will also have some time to explore the area around Alamosa and have a surprise experience on our final day. Call Scott at 223-1230 or Stacy at 493-7035 for more details

All Church Mission experience for adults, children, youth and college aged. We are exploring this idea for Spring of 2009.
