Age nine or ninety, we’re all still learning to color in and outside the lines.
Adult - Book Study
On Monday nights, we offer more in-depth study designed to engage people in meaningful conversations on a particular topic or with a particular author. Classes begin at 6 p.m. and we all break together for a short period of snacks and fellowship. To register, call the church office (970/223-1230) and talk to Katie, our Administrative Assistant.
This fall’s book studies include:
The Challenge of Jesus Taught by one of our pastors, Jeff Wright, the class will be reading and discussing the book of the same title by the Anglican Bishop of Duram. Where does Jesus belong in the world of his day? What was his preaching of the kingdom all about? Why did Jesus die? What happened on Easter and after? What difference does all this make today. An energetic and faith-transforming ten-week discussion class. There is a cost for the book.
Financial Peace University Taught by one of our pastors, Scott Hardin-Nieri, and his wife Becca, this class meets for fourteen weeks exploring a life-changing program that teaches how to make the right decisions with money. Class members are empowered with the practical skills and confidence needed to achieve true financial peace. Students pay $99 for the class, which includes a book, a workbook and DVDs.
