From our doorsteps to the ends of the earth, life is transformed in loving others.
Interfaith Council
Interface Council is a network of local faith communities. The council is represented by caring persons from thirty-nine (39) of those faith communities. We have covenanted together since 1978 in accordance with the belief that God calls us all to work together. We address issues of community concern from the perspective of our faith and we help to meet the needs of the citizens in our own community and beyond. Our vision is, that by using faith-based teamwork we can bring about justice for all persons in our community
What does the Interfaith Council do?
As a network of faith communities our purpose is to strengthen and encourage each other in the work of meeting human needs within our community in the following manner:
- By serving as a bridge between faith communities and local agencies that are meeting human needs in our community.
- By supporting those agencies financially and providing a group of volunteers from our member faith communities.
- By identifying and helping to seed new programs to address unmet needs.
To accomplish these goals, we depend on the support of local, member faith communities and their faith-filled members.
