From our doorsteps to the ends of the earth, life is transformed in loving others.

Service / Mission Trips

Members and friends of Heart of the Rockies participate in a variety of mission trips. For example, many travel each year to the Navajo nation in the Four Corners area to rehab the houses of elderly Navajo.  Other past mission experiences include trips to Palestine, Jordan, Mexico, Costa Rica, New Orleans, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela.  Each summer, our youth participate in mission trips.

Previous Mission Experiences

    • All Church Mission, in March 2011 Seventeen singles, families and youth came together for another mission experience this past spring.  The team ages 4 through late 40's worked with La Puente Home in Alamosa, CO, serving the homeless, building houses and learning about issues of poverty and God’s love. The plan is to continue this intergeneration experience in 2012.  Please contact Scott (scott@heartoftherockies.org ; 223-1230) if you are interested in learning more.  Video from 2011 trip:
