Service / Mission Trips

Members and friends of Heart of the Rockies participate in a variety of mission trips. For example, many travel each year to the Navajo nation in the Four Corners area to rehab the houses of elderly Navajo. Other past mission experiences include trips to Palestine, Jordan, Mexico, Costa Rica, New Orleans, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela. Each summer, our youth participate in mission trips. This past summer our junior high youth traveled to one of the two poorest counties in Colorado where they served the homeless. Our senior highers traveled to inner city Chicago where they worked, prayed, played and grew in faith and maturity with Door Ministries.

• September 24-28 Shiprock Navajo Mission experience in New Mexico
