Cultivating Fruitfulness

Begins Sunday, September 12 …but join us anytime along the Way!

Join our church family as over seven weeks, from September 12 through October 24, we explore five practices that cultivate a fruitful life:

·    Radical hospitality

·    Passionate Worship

·    Intentional faith development

·    Risk-taking mission and service

·    Extravagent generosity

You may participate by simply attending either worship service, at 8:30 a.m. or 11 o’clock.  On your own time, you may join in the daily devotionals; receive a copy of the book, Cultivating Fruitfulness by Robert Schnase, as our gift.  You may join a seven-week small group experience and connect with others who are sharing the journey toward wholeness.

 

Shiprock House-Repair Mission Dates

Dates have been set for the fall house renovation mission to the Tse’ Daa’ Kaan Chapter of the Navajo Nation in Shiprock: Wednesday, September 22 through Sunday, September 26.  Dates are flexible, of course, according to your need to arrive and depart on different dates.  For more information, check the announcement board or call the church office. 

College-Aged and Grads

Labor Day Weekend, Sun., September 5

We gather for one woship service at 10:30 a.m. Plan to stay and eat together following worship.

Fall Kick-Off, Sun., September 12

We return to our fall schedule - worship services at 8:30 and 11 a.m., and Sunday school at 9:50 - on Sunday, September, 12. Our pastors will begin a seven-week sermon series, Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations, and Sunday school classes will be available for all ages.

Kids at Heart Fundango

In October, our congregation will staff the respite party we throw for foster, adoptive, and kinship kids and families. Watch for details about how you can participate in this community ministry for our church family, or contact Director, Erica Wharton (223-1230).
