Help provide shelter, food, and care for families experiencing homelessness. For four weeks every year, HRCC volunteers join volunteers at Plymouth Congregational Church UCC (916 W Prospect Road) to host up to four families. There are lots of varied opportunities: setup crew, overnight volunteer, evening host, tear down crew.

Evening hosts welcome families and oversee the evening. Meal preparers bring and serve a meal. Overnight hosts arrive at 8 pm and stay until 7 am the next morning when families leave for the day. There are also childcare providers, cleaning volunteers, set-up volunteers, tear-down volunteers, grocery shoppers, and an FFH trailer transporter. Our church has consistently helped to provide a warm, safe place for families in crisis, marked by generosity, hospitality and fellowship.
