Film Screening - Refuge

You are invited to a Fall Film Fellowship featuring Refuge: A Story About Fear and Love in the American South, an awardwinning documentary that follows the unexpected relationship between a former KKK leader and a Muslim refugee. Their conversations open surprising possibilities for healing across deep divides, offering what one reviewer calls “a glimmer of hope” for a fractured America.

Join us on Monday, Oct 19th, 6:00–8:30pm in the sanctuary to watch the film together (rated 16+), followed by a conversation led by Pastor Cody and Rev. Donna Greene over coffee and dessert. Sign up at the Outreach Table to let us know that you're coming (so we can make sure to have enough dessert!).

Then, on Nov 8th, 3:00–4:30 pm, you are invited to a wider Zoom conversation with Disciples from across the Region exploring fear, belonging, relationship, and what becomes possible when love calls us beyond our safe spaces. Click here to register for the Nov 8th Regional Zoom Conversation.
