Habitat Homes Update

NEW TIME - 9AM-NOON

Poudre High School students in Geometry in Construction classes have nearly completed their work building the frames for the first two Habitat for Humanity homes. The homes will be moved to Heartside Hill on Friday, May 16. We're told it's quite a sight to see, with the  frames transported to the site on four trucks, and then placed on the foundations using a large crane.

If you'd like to observe the process, plan to join Gordon Thayer behind the church building, near the garden shed. Observers won't be allowed near the construction site due to safety concerns, but this will be a great vantage point to watch the activity. The timing (9 a.m.-Noon) is a moving target, so feel free to contact Gordon for any last minute updates; he'll be in contact with the Habitat construction crew.
