Introducing Rev. Cody Robertson

Heart of the Rockies Christian Church Welcomes a New Senior Pastor!

Seven months ago, the Senior Pastor Search Team began the important and prayerful work of identifying a ministerial candidate who embodies the needs, vision, and values of Heart of the Rockies Christian Church. After thoughtfully reviewing numerous profiles, conducting in-depth interviews, and engaging in faithful discernment, the Search Team presented their recommended candidate for our next Senior Pastor. At a congregational meeting held on Sunday, May 4, the congregation joyfully voted to call Rev. Cody Robertson as our next Senior Pastor.

Cody is a Colorado native who still begrudgingly cheers for the Colorado Rockies. As a youth, he spent many summer weeks at our beloved camp, La Foret, where he received his call to ministry. Cody graduated from Colorado College in 2008 and earned his Master of Divinity from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University in 2013.

He has previously served churches in Fort Worth, Texas, and Bentonville, Arkansas. Since 2021, Cody has served as the Associate Minister at Lindenwood Christian Church in Memphis, Tennessee.

Cody is married to Ashley, and they have a 9-year-old son. In his free time, Cody enjoys reading, watching sports, listening to music, and solving The New York Times puzzles. His favorite things include dad jokes, coaching Carter's baseball team, and spending time with his family.Cody will begin his tenure as Senior Pastor at Heart of the Rockies on Monday, June 23, and will preach his first sermon on Sunday, June 29.

We are excited for this next chapter in the history of our church and look forward to the journey ahead with Cody!
