Project Angel Heart
Project Angel Heart began in Denver in the 1980s when neighbors prepared and delivered meals to those becoming seriously ill with HIV/AIDS. Today, the organization operates a full commercial kitchen, creating medically tailored meals with input from doctors, dietitians, and professional chefs.
Meals are delivered weekly to a distribution site behind the Larimer County Food Bank in Fort Collins, where volunteer drivers pick them up. Deliveries for Fort Collins and Loveland take place on Fridays, and Greeley deliveries are on Saturdays.
We are seeking additional volunteer drivers to support these routes. If you’re able to help, your time will directly support neighbors managing serious health challenges. Contact Kimball Rhoads.
