The Outreach Food Insecurity team is inviting you to Share the Bounty! As the garden season rolls into high gear, you may be asking yourself—what am I going to do with all these overabundant cherry tomatoes, peppers, or zucchinis? Starting on August 2 and until first frost, bring your fresh produce to the Heart of the Rockies kitchen. There will be empty baskets on the counters where you can place your extra harvest. Anyone in the congregation is invited to take home any produce you can use; we will provide bags. Outreach Team members will deliver the rest of the food to the Food Bank, FoCo Café and other sites.
