All laypersons and clergy from the Central Rocky Mountain Region are invited to join the CRMR Reconciliation Ministry team for a five-week study of Layla F. Saad's Me and White Supremacy: Combat Racism, Change the World, and Become a Good Ancestor. The book guides readers step by step through examining white privilege, the meaning of allyship, patterns of anti-Blackness, racial stereotypes, cultural appropriation, and the ongoing work of responding to race with honesty and commitment. Its 28 days of readings and journaling prompts invite sustained self-reflection that supports meaningful social change. We will meet weekly on Zoom for facilitated reflection on what emerged in the previous week's readings. Please purchase the book prior to the first class. Email Rev. Donna Greene with any questions at willsgreene@comcast.net.
Registration is required for all participants, due by January 11. Register here https://forms.gle/6kf2ohJT4Y9fZFoz7 A Zoom link will be emailed to all registered participants.
